Mrs. Linda Ginter

3rd Degree Black Belt

Mrs. Ginter is a loyal black belt whose strong support and dedication has put her at the forefront of this academy. Her passion for the martial arts and strong leadership skills make her an inspiration by all.

The Way of the Warrior

The core value system used in our academy is derived from Bushido, (The Way of the Warrior) a code of honor practiced by the Samurai Warriors.

In 1990 the United States Army recognized the Bushido Code and implemented the warriors code into their training regiment.

This entire code is built from a foundation of loyalty, honor, integrity, justice, and simple right & wrong.

We often refer to our code as common sense family values. These values are shared by most large corporations, the military, religions, or other structured organizations.

The Dubuque Tactical Martial Arts Academy is designed to take the excitement of the martial arts to the next level. Our training is for self defense purposes ONLY, as well as to preserve the rich heritage of traditional martial arts with the modification of modern day applications, practicalities, theories, and concepts.
Safety is our top priority. Any students abusing the weapons or techniques taught throughout this course may be demoted and permanently removed from the program. This is a leadership program built off of the foundation of honor, respect, integrity, proper attitude, humility, modesty, along with all of the other character developing traits that develop a well rounded black belt.
